Exposed concrete is a concreting finish most popular for driveways and paths, that looks fantastic for any area.

Aggregate for an exposed finish can be purchased either as a river stone or a crushed rock, in a variety of tones. Different applications are used depending on the elevation of the particular job at hand.

Exposed Boral Eclipse driveway, with sleeper walls, drainage and plumbing, yet to be acid washed cleaned and sealed, saw joints. The owner even had a turn at washing off the exposed. Looks fantastic, and can’t wait until the curing process has finished and we will see the true colour of the concrete texture.

What a fantastic opportunity to work for this family on a full front and back yard make over! This is the third house on the street that we have completed. We concreted all areas, full pest control barrier, 4 steel framed gates, fence, double palings, all prime and painted 3 coats, on and off front fence and gate tracks, under ground power line to gates and lights, aircon raised, off on hot water, full drainage for the entire property, sleeper walls, stairs, stormwater to the street, concrete acid washed and cleaned, fresh soil for under turf, Sir Walter turf, plus all garden and landscaping to cap it off. We could not be happier with the quality of the work.

Upper Brookfield Property Make Over – Exposed Concrete and Landscaping

A huge transformation project at Upper Brookfield. With over 600 square meters of exposed concrete for driveway, paths and entertaining areas, core filled blocks wall, pest control, Sir Walter turf laid and rolled, and drainage throughout this job was a big project with an even bigger outcome.

Sinnamon Park Driveway Replacement

Exposed Ocean Floor concrete at Sinnamon Park. The aim of the job was to remove and replace the driveway without damage to the owners lawn, it was very successful. Still acid washed and sealed to ensure a high quality and lasting finish. We also replaced front fence to finish off the job.

Chapel Hill – Exposed Cherry Blossom Concrete with Paved Features

300 square meters of exposed Cherry Blossom concrete, paver band features with seeded exposed, and paver band edging. All acid washed clean and sealed. Drainage, pest control and finished with 130 square meters of Sir Walter turf.

Yeronga – Backyard Update

Exposed Boral concrete, turfing, drainage, paver band garden edging, mulch for the gardens and added a sitting area. First three photos take on completion of work in 2018, last three sent to Achilles Concrete by client in 2020.

A huge transformation project in Kenmore updating the cracked and crumbling colour concrete driveway and paths to fresh exposed finish Concrete. The owners were very happy with the outcome and were great to the team, treating us to freshly made scones.

Mount Ommaney – Front Yard Renovation

We did this project from start to finish. Starting with earth works, then exposed driveway, paths and building sleeper walls with pest control, drainage and electrical installation. Then we added new soil to the garden beds, brick garden bed edge and painting, a new letter box and Colour Bond fencing. To finish, the concrete was acid washed and sealed, and Sir Walter turf laid.

Middle Park – Presale Update

Boral exposed driveway and pathways added value and kept continuity with the colour of the brickwork. After this we completed landscaping to get the front of this property up to sales standard.

Moorooka – Christmas 2019

Something a bit different. Two types of stepping stones, the first from single exposed concrete slabs, the second from timber sleepers. An exposed aggregate concrete driveway and steel stringers with Oregan Timber tread stairs to the house. All together this gave the house a great point of difference. This is the third job we’ve done over the past 10 years for this client.
